that energy should be clean, affordable, and secure. We believe that before we make economic war for the energy resources of other countries, we should maximize our ability to create our own energy both as an effort of ethical conduct and national security. We believe that pricing should be a result of supply and demand as true capitalism prescribes. Solar, wind, water, geothermal and nuclear power are all viable alternatives available now.   Taxpayers are perfectly capable of making responsible decisions for themselves. Until such time as cleaner energy becomes more widely available, we support a "drill here, drill now, drill responsibly" philosophy in an effort to increase our national security and decrease unnecessary armed conflict. We do not believe that increasing taxes through cap-and-trade on a vital aspect of daily American life will help to meet their needs, improve their lives, or efficiently address the health of our environment.
