When many people first discover U.S. Freedom Foundation and our mission to support middle class economic interests, their immediate reaction is, “Finally! Why hasn’t anybody done this before?”

 

The reason is money. The middle class is the group least likely to be able to financially support advocacy efforts on their behalf. 

 

Support for the needs of industry and professional groups are well-funded with member dues. Low-income needs are well-represented by multitudes of advocacy groups that are well-funded by government programs and grants and private philanthropy.

 

Most middle-class families in today’s economy are using all their income just to make ends meet and support their church commitments.   Many are under such financial stress they aren’t even reaching those primary goals. For those who are at least cracking that nut each month, there is frequently virtually nothing left to support any kind of advocacy effort for anything.

 

So we sit in frustration and anger while hundreds of groups lobby for the needs of low-income families and illegal immigrants, hundreds more lobby for the needs of wealthy special interests, while silence reigns on our needs, the needs of the majority. 

 

Our solution is the $5 Freedom Club. No matter what your monthly budget may be, if you have a computer, internet access, and the ability to pay your bills online, you can more than likely make this commitment, which amounts to virtually nothing compared to most of the regular bills you may already have programmed to pay automatically each month.

 

We ask you to use your financial institution’s online bill paying system or our PayPal payment system on this page to program in just $5 a month to U.S. Freedom Foundation, and to let us know you will be sending this monthly in the future.

 

We can then build our budget on this funding commitment. Instead of relying on a few large donors and foundations for funding, we can build U.S. Freedom Foundation on the support of tens of thousands of middle-income Americans, the same Americans for whom we pledge to work.
